I was reading several Flight department profiles in Professional Pilot magazine and on several it was mentioned that pilots were paid at or above industry average for their A/C. My question is what exactly is industry average for large medium and small cabin aircraft.

You will get lots of help here, but you HAVE to get a little more specific.

What Aircraft type?
Where is it located?
91 or 135?
PIC or SIC?


then folks who fly what you are looking for will post thier approx salaries.

Best source if you have one available is NBAA's Salary Survey. Probably the worst place to look is ProPilot.

Also remember, these folks interviewed for ProPilot are going to have their articles read by their principals. NO one in their right minds would bad mouth their company in a national publication.

Ok i'll put my two cent's in

Part 91

PIC and SIC [with type rating and ATP]

Oceanic mainly into the West coast [Maui, Monteray KLAX, and Vancover etc away for 8 - 14 days at a time]

Based outside the US [now... it's nowhere you guys have probably heard of and we can't compare] but if you just say where you are and possibly highs and lows it would be appreciated.

I'm in the process of re-negotiating my contract and will appreciate any advice.
