Can anyone provide a list of FBOs in the Sacramento area, and provide an opinion on which ones are better than others?I know most people fly to SAC Downtown, but others use Executive.

Thanks

Do you need an FBO? Or just a good airport close to where you want to land? Where do you need to go once on the ground?

KMCC is pretty nice. No tower and lots of heleicopter training in and around the area can make for a lot of rubber necking but otherwise certainly adequate. NetJets and other fractionals use the place a lot. McClellen Jet Services is the local FBO.

STAY away from both SMF/SAC both are operated by SAC JET center and have huge landing fees and fuel COSTS
KMCC is by far the best and have no ramp fees. Just be aware it is a helo training facility so the are bugs usually flying around
any Q' s PM me and I'll tell you what I know

What about MAF? Mather is great too and they have Trajen FBO (I think, its been a while). It all depends on where you are headed. South side - you should use Mather, North side, use McClellan.
