For the experienced 65 guys. If 4 pax, can you make LA from PWK (5000ft) and or until what temp? Or, would UGN or MDW (6500ft) be necessary? Thanks.

We just sold our 65 last month. I flew it for 4 1/2 years and don't have the books anymore.
From my memory.......... To take off at gross 24,000# with temp above 20C the BFL was a little over 6,000 which is our home runway. My long trips had to be early morning (below +20) or at about 22,700#. Westbound I would go to 430 at .76 and the return east at 360 and .81.
Hope this helps.

HEADWIND

From what I remember Headwind is pretty well spot on. However, it has been nearly three years since I flew the 65.
