Quick question-

Does anyone know the name of the unit or have a point of contact for the squadron that flies a Russian helo (I think that it is a hind) located in Alabama or Louisiana?

Thanks.

JRTC at Ft. Polk, LA has an aviation det. that flies alot of former soviet aircraft. dunno if they have a hind though

The Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk has civilian contractors that fly the MI-24 Hind, MI-17 HIP, MI-8 Hoplite, and AN-2 Colt.

Their HQ is at Fort Bliss Texas. They do fly sometimes to MS, AL, FL on missions in support of training special forces.
