Been staring at the jep 10-9 and 10-9a for ase and can't find the runway gradient, little help please. I know its there somewhere.

Runway elevatons on each end of the runway. Rise over run will give you the gradient. For example if the elevation at the ends of the runway are 1 and the other end is 16 and the runway length is 3000 ft, then the rise is 15 ft and the run is 3000 ft. 15/3000 = .005 convert to percentage is .5% runway gradient.

thanks for the calculation, but is there nowhere on the chart that gives this info without said calculation.

I don't have any charts in front of me, but isn't it on the airport depiction along the runway?
