What are the chances of a rotary wing pilot transitioning over to fixed wing?
Never flown rotary, but strongly considering it if i can transition later. Also if I join in the guard does that limit me to only guard A/C.

Rotary is the kiss of death in the AF and Navy. You'll never get out! Very rare to transition. Take the advice of numerous people who have been there and done that. Go guard or reserve you'll never regret it. You can still move around units but it doesn't happen often. I think the reserve is better to move around in. The guard tends to homestead.
