rollerboard dimensions?

Just wondering what size luggage is suitable for the CRJ...I dont want to invest money only to find out that it wont fit in the plane. Do you carry teh bag on board teh aircraft or is it better to get a bigger one and store it underneath?

As long as you pack lightly, the standard 22'' Travelpro or even a PNT will fit in a CRJ overhead. I've never had a problem shoving it in.

Briggs and Riley bags won't fit. (The external handle is the problem).

Purdy Neat Stuff fits. You just have to watch how much stuff you have in it. When it expands outward too much (front to back), then it becomes a problem. But the width is fine.
