Cannibalize a PNT bag, and replace the steel frame with one laid up out of carbon fiber. That should be light.

At the risk of sounding like an old guy lets go back to 1988.

I was a new hire at TWA and the pilots were still carrying their suitcases around by the handles. The Flt Attendants were using "wheelies", those heavy chrome plated steel folding things with wheels on the bottom. They used bungee cords to hold the suitcases in place. You had to take it all apart going through security! Back together on the other side!

About then TravelPro came out with the Roll-a-board and the wheelies were thrown into the trash. It was such a good idea even the pilots started using them!

Hey fellas (and ladies),

I've been having some back problems and need to get a roller board that is lighter than the Purdy bag I've been using for a long time. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for the input.

Had back problems too...switched to the plastic version when it came time to replace...helped quite a bit.

You just described the Stongbags.com

It's like the PNT, but lighter material.

Skyway bags

Those old bags were made by SKYWAY. i HAD ONE AND USED THE WHEELIES UNTIL THE BUNGEES CRUSHED THE BAG OVER TIME.

Old school!

Let it roll!
