Heard a rumor that we are going back to just standard departure usage w/o headings or waypoint verification. Can anyone shed any light on this? Also, when are they going to start the "Descend Via..." arrival procedures? Just want to know so I can get the dust webs off my slow moving brain

Thats a true rumor...but exactly when I do not know. This time if y'all turn the wrong way (and manage to not hit someone), it'll be a pilot deviation, and you'll be dealing with the FSDO....so make sure you got those correct runways loaded into your FMS!
