I just read that David Garrett died at age 89. He was a guest lecturer for one of my college classes and stuck around and had lunch with some of us afterwards. What a class act he seemed to be. He started at DL in reservations and worked his way up. I'm sure he was a role model to many. Condolences to any of you guys/gals who worked under him or knew him.
