Just wondering if Cathay has any sort of agreement for american pilots to hop on for a ride. Im trying to go between JFK-YVR and according to passrider that flight is operated by Cathay....Wasent aware they could do something between two diffrent countries...so is this even a Cathay flight or operated by someone else? Also if it is a Cathay flight and we do get to hop on...is there a number to prelist? Thanks in advance!

When i rode on them, they did not have an agreement with US pilots for "jump-seating" as that is pretty much an American thing. However, I was able to purchase an ID90 from them, not sure if they have Zed fares available or not, but that seemed to be the best way to do it. Great airline, lots of south Asian flight attendants running around.
