Last I knew, Textron and CVS were the hardest gigs to get around the PVD area. I'm assuming thats still true and they only pull in guys they know very well, with tons of flt. time. I'm just wondering if you guys think it'd be a waste of time to send them a resume. I live 4 min from PVD and looking to find at least average pay around this area. Unfortunately my flt time does not offer many opportunities, just hoping I can hit one of those right place/time deals. I cant afford 1st/2nd yr regional pay, and cant afford my current pay on the right side of a 550. a C-550 that is.

I would suggest that you go down to the Flight Deptartment and meet face to face with them. By living so close, it would pay to shake hands (offer a Resume) and follow up in person. Not sure if Instructing jobs are available at PVD, however, if you could some how find a "reason" to hang out at the airport and let them get to see you often, maybe position will come about.

In the Corporate World, its all about who you know. Let them get to know you as you continue to build operational experience. If you end up in the 121 world, continue to maintain contact with them, to show your interest.

I appreciate the response and understand that, I'm more concerned with specific information regarding these local companies.
