Republican lapdogs at it again. Bought and paid for by Big Business and the Chamber of Commerce. Doing what their corporate masters tell them to do...at the detriment of public safety and worker safety. Pathetic excuses for human beings.
 
It is my understanding of the bill that anything in a previously published NPRM is not affected by this.

You don't need a law to guarantee rest. Negotiate it in your contract and it can be good for the company and labor.

Let me guess, you have a public education?
In fact...I do; as does the vast majority of the students in this country. I can also say that I've seen the private side as well. For 3 out of my 12 years, I was in Private school. Could have stayed there, but instead rejoined the public school system because it offered many more opportunities than a small private school could ever hope for. Graduated in the top 10% of my class and then went on to a public university where I did the same. My teachers throughout were top-notch union professionals to whom I will be eternally grateful.
