Reserve policy at different companies?

Are you allowed to be released at a certain time on your last day of reserve to commute home if scheduling does'nt have a trip for you? and if so, what is the earliest time that you can be released? thanks!

6 p.m. local on the last day at XJT. Prior to that at schedulings discretion.

Whenever they feel like it at CommutAir, right up to 16 hours, even if all the planes are gone. 2 hour callout, so back that up by 2 hours I suppose.

I think it's anytime at scheduling's choice on the last day at Mesaba. Basically if they haven't called you with about 5 hours before your release time they really can't do anything with you unless they JM you for the following day in the process.
