I have my papers in to separate this coming spring. I have a part-time Reserve job lined up and want to get a good idea of what kind of pay I can expect to be looking at. I know that it can vary widely but I'd just like to get some ideas of what folks out there are able to pull down as a "bum".

lowwelll,

I think it depends on your unit. I'm in an airlift unit and they are so busy that they've had guys signed up on orders since last Sep 11. They're getting waivers for the max allowable in a year left and right. I actually did that for 3 months right after the 11th, 'till I got a job. Are you a captain or a major? The nice thing is you can sign up for 30 or 60 or 90 days at at time. Now when you do, your a$$ belongs to them, but it is pay.

Once you sign up on orders, it's like being on active duty again. If you need more specifics, let me know.

Fred
