What is reserve like? 2 hour call out? PBS or Lines? What are the junior bases? Any new bases opening up? How's life on 1st year pay...is there opportunity for over guarantee?

2 hour call out. Lines for reserve. Staffed pretty well right now. Reserve is commutable 15:30 first day earliest show 17:30 day one. Last day done by 15:30 if not assigned a trip. LAX is growing to 60 crews from 20. Very hard to break guarantee and no picking up trips on days off

No the reserve lines are built by hand. You can bid your vacation day 1 with the company. 5 days paid and then 2 others non paid tacked on at the end of your vacation

And you get 3 of those seven-day blocks per year. Start in January you get 3 seven day periods. Pro-rated down based on when you get hired. Could be two full blocks + an odd number of days, etc.

Vacation weeks start on Mondays, you get paid for the M-F days and are guaranteed S-S off at the end. You can elect to forego the G-Days and bid to work if you like.

Kinda screwy but it came as a result of vacation blocks originally 5 days, then they fixed it for us non-office types so we actually get 7 days off for vacation. Pay stayed the same per day, so it's essentially 17.5 hours for a seven day block. Needs to be improved, IMO.
