3 observations...
1. Letterman said it was a fine airline. Obviously a joke from the comedian host.
2. She played a game at Ruperts deli called Veal or no Veal (spoof on Deal or no Deal). If this had been a Republic pilot then he/she would have been as excited to be on TV playing for basically nothing as much as they are excited to fly a 170/175 for basically nothing. Shiny TV syndrome.
3. First guess on the show referred to said position correctly as stewardess (ahhh, the good ole days)
