Republic Airways, benifits??

I have some questions for pilots at Republic on the Q-400.

1) If you are on reserve, how often do you get called in for a trip? Is it last minute or do they give you more then 90 min. to get to your base?

2) Is EWR the most JR. base?

3) If Republic has all those codeshares with US Airways etc., why don't Q-400 pilots/family get to use those codeshare? I heard you only get United and if you fly the 170 for US Airways you get both!
Also with United do you have to pay a minimal fee every time you fly on them?
