I'm doing some research for a friend.

Does anybody have a database that has all registered airplanes of a sepecific type? Both domestic and international. I've tried some website searches but haven't had very good luck.

Actually suprisingly the spotters have a better database than the cia. Pretty scarry. I actually saw a pic of myself doing a preflight.

Your best bet is to get hold of JP Biz Jet 2006, by Brian Gates. This has every single corporate jet worldwide listed, with operators, types, serial numbers and other data. Take a look at www.buchair.com for ordering instructions.

Alternatively, there are many spotter/aviation enthusiast websites that have aircraft hsitories, sorted many different ways. One of the best is at http://members.chello.nl/s.c.verbrugge/ . Another good one is at http://laasdata.com/corpjet/ .

Have fun.

yeah the spotter websites are interesting. Especially the international ones. I saw a picture of myself on one. The next one I figured would have what I had for dinner since it had everything about the company i was working for.

Very scary.

I'll second that about Buchair's BizJet book. Very helpful book and like said a couple posts ago, has every biz jet registered. Then it also gives turboprops.
If youre interested in airframes that have been written off or withdrawn from use, these are also listed.
