Has anyone used this approach? I was thinking of emailing all my current students, asking them to spread the word about flying, and help bring in more students to the airport. Not sure how I want to word it, but I feel it might be a good way to get some new blood into the airport.

Comments?

End every flight with:

When can you fly next?

then

Do you know anyone else interested in flying?

Absolutely!

Ultimately, a lot of your students can come from referrals. Some students will do it automatically, but most will assume that you are busy, so you really do need to tell them that you are available.

Just try to be friendly, nice and professional and hint if they might know somebody that would be interested in an "intro-flight" to experience the same wonderful experience you students do...don't be too pushy and things will start.....
