My friend is interviewing next week. I was curious about the paperwork he was sent which stated the interview attire is business casual and no tie required. He wants to wear a suit, but given that info I advised him not to wear a suit or a tie. Any thoughts?

Also, has anyone interviewed recently that could post some written questions and sim ride tips? Thanks!

Wear a suit--everone that I interviewed with wore the ubiquitous dark blue "interview" suit and they hired every single one of us. Craig Washka (the guy doing the interviews) will be in a tie. Good luck!

DON'T wear a suit. I interviewed less than a month ago, and nobody was wearing one. You will be sticking out like a sore thumb

It doesn't matter. Wear what you are comfortable in. If you have 1200 hrs you'll get the job regardless (unless you are an a$$). I talked to him 2 weeks ago and he said 135 qualified pilots are hard to get now. That means 1200 hrs. Good luck

I interviewed 9/28/04 and Craig Washka was not wearing a tie; neither was Matt. I wore nice slacks and a dress shirt, with no tie. I am going to class tomorrow. They are not trying to trick you when they say no tie required. The interview is very relaxed.

Wear a suit? The only thing that matters in Airnet interviews is how you do in that junker of a simulator, everything else is irrelevant.

Back in the day if you showed up with a tie on they sent you home!
