Fox news is reporting Goldman Sachs and someplace else

It was on before that

Onex Corp. out of Toronto is the other partner, and will be the managing lead. These are the same folks that bought Boeing Wichita (now Spirit Aerospace) and a key investor in the recent Qantas deal. The new company is going to be called Beechcraft Hawker Corporation.

I am pretty sure that this was a case of "we do not want those two aspects of the business". This is especially true because the side deal was that the aircraft company would work with Options for a minimum of 3 years after the close. They also did not want the commuter business.
I think the future of FO is really up in the --pardon the expression--air. The original plan is by the wayside, they now have an owner that does not want them, an owner that will make little investment in them, and yet there is little reason other than a firesale for Netjets or anyone else to get interested.

This is interesting to me. I was in DAL a couple of weeks ago, and the taxi driver that we use there, was telling me that Goldman Sachs was wanting to buy NJs. I am sure you guys that have been around for a while, know the guy. He claims to know quite a bit about NJs (and Santulli) and GS (his brother works there?). Maybe NJs wasnt interested in selling and this is GSs way to get into this business.

Oh god that guy.

I got sick of his BS one day and asked him if he knew so much why is he a cabbie. Nothing wrong with cabbies, but from experience most of them are insane, or are close to being serial killers that need something to do while they are tracking their next victim.

Anybody remember the guy in CVG in Racecab who said his brother was in 9/11 and he was in special ops. Made for a long ride to the airport.
