I've heard about non-rated folks palace chasing there way into a UPT slot, I am assuming that it would be nearly impossible to do that if you were rated.

Also, if you are a fulltimer for the reserves or guard how do they calculate your pay since you are not EAD, or are you on EAD??

I know of a number of pilots who palace chased into guard/reserve units. They had to stay in their gaining unit for a certain number of years.

I'm an AGR in a reserve unit so I am on EAD orders. AGRs even get the bonus :D

cool...

Darn I wish that the pilot/nav situation wasn't what it is... I could apply to a bunch of guard/reserve units as a full timer and serve my EAD out there... Anybody know of any Guard/Reserve units that need a full time nav who is bright eyed and bushied tailed?? LOL Prob not!
