anyone know of an easy way to apply for/receive a temp radio telephone operaters permit/license? you used to be able to print a form off of the net and mail in the top half, the bottom half was your receipt as well as a temp permit. Thanks in advance...

telephony is right!

Another 50 bucks I did not have to spend when I was looking for a job all last year! But I'm sure that it was the deciding factor during my interview!

Honestly I'm not even sure what that license gives a pilot the right to do?! anyone know?!

Would make a great interview question!

The telephony permit is required by our govenment when flying internationally. So basically, the US government is requiring us to have it when we are not in the US, i.e. not under their control.
Figure that one out...

Mine came in the Mail!

I applied online and it took less than 30 min., with a credit card.
It came in the mail 10 days later.
