What is a "Radar Fix" on an approach plate. I was looking at the ILS into Maui and there are two marker beakons... below each it states: Radar Fix...what exactly does this mean. Does it mean there is another way to identify where it is other than your marker beakons? Any help much appreciated...thanks in advance.

Its a big spinning piece of metal, but that's not important right now! LOL, sorry, couldn't resist the Airplane reference.

It it probably a fix used to help identify you since radar in that area is limited. I could be wrong, though.

Its a fix that traditionally could only be identified by radar. Its not ident. by a radial off of a NDB or VOR. Of course with GPS that kinda changed things, but it is likely that the "radar" fix is some sort of step down fix or something that you need to know about and ATC needs to call because there is no other way of identifying it.
