The upper crust of United's management has set a new low. They are in the process of moving (outsourcing) flight attendant scheduling to the philippines.

Jeff has moved United Airlines to a new low, the bottom. Major step completed to go from first to worst. More outsourcing, less employees, crappier moral.

Way to go Jeff.

And how do you propose he pay for himself? Insource everything and run a reputable airline? I don't think so.

No, it is true....FA scheduling is being outsourced now but not 100% of them. A friend of mine just delt with one of the outsourced folks yesterday.

Another outsourcing rumor....LA ramp agent said yesterday on the headset they are all losing their jobs to a vendor in the next 90 days. Outsourcing a station large as LA?????

When were they first?

Many businesses/companies both domestic and foreign outsource for many reasons in which I expect this trend to continue. Airlines are no different!
