Quick question about the GLEX

The Global Express.......is it a CL-65 type rating? (Same as a regional jet?) Somebody once told me it's a CRJ-700 body with 900 wing. Any of you GLEX drivers out there, help please!

no. I dont think there is too much in common - thank god - aside from the manufacturer.

I think the rating is a BBD-700.

I heard the GLEX type rating was pretty pricey now-a-days. Anyone got any idea what the going rate for one is?

It's a different type. The instructors at Bombardier don't even go between the two.
