Questions for Northwest Airlines Employees

Hello,

Just wondering what's going on with Northwest Airlines lately. I've noticed the company stock has gone as high 18 times it's low about 8 months ago. The stock really spiked around the US Air, Delta Airlines merger announcement.

I spoke with another captain who said airline stock and other business stock spikes and then crashes before a company goes out of business. What do you think the future holds with NWAC and if you think your management will be able to keep NWAC going, etc.?

I have a non-flying friend who owns some NWA stock and has some interest in this topic as well. I've posted some questions he'd appreciate answers/opinons to. I realize some of his questions involve a crystal ball but any response would be appreciated. He has been trying to keep on top of this in the media but would like any information that might not be readily extracted from these sources.

2. Is there talk of a merger and with who?

3. Is there a shareholder equity group being formed?

4. Is there a potential private equity buyout?

5. What's the potential of NWA changing their decision to cancel the stock?

6. What factor does NWA's venture into a Far East market interplay with the previous five factors?

7. Are their labor troubles over?

8. Will this all take place over days weeks or months?
