It looks like Airnet wants applicants to have CFI credentials. Is that a hard requirement or could that get waived for someone who has prior 135 experience?

Where do most new hires go?

I was hoping for DAL, if I didn't get hired into that base, how long would it take to hold a line there?

Thanks

I'd say that you'll be ok without the CFI if you have 135 IFR mins.

As far as being based in DAL, you won't get there till you make the jet. All the props have been pulled from there (unless things changed since I left) and they only have jet routes from there. Hard to say where new guys go, its just whatever is open. TEB and BUF are always likely choices.

Good Luck.

Yeah, don't worry about the CFI too much if you have the 135 min's. And as of right now there are no props out of DAL. Placement is almost impossible to predict, but east coast spots have a high turnaround.
