Question for you guys about training rates

Got a call today from a guy who needs someone to train and then check someone in their E120 Brasilia for passenger service.

My job would be to fly to their location, train, then check their "cheif pilot" who would in turn train their instructors.

Sofar the cost of travel, hotel, and other expenses are covered, but what would you charge as a fee for something like this? All my experience is part 121 so I've never had to think about it in these terms.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So you are a Part 121 Check Airman and DE? I would charge them $1000 per day plus expenses. Maybe more since there are not that many E-120 DE's out there any longer. Just figure that if they went to FSI they would pay around $30K per pilot for a type rating (not counting expenses for their pilots).

$1500 at least. I know guys that are getting that for a Falcon 10 ppe
