I applied online and got an e-mail asking if my application was for some netjets division,NJI NJE NJME.... is that the normal mail you get saying that my resume is on there records or do I have to do something alse?? is the waiting period of an interview long, are you looking for pilots?

Thanks

Another good way is to find a job fair that NetJets will have a rep at. I went to one in PHX on Saturday Feb. 19th and was called and offered an interview 2 days later. I'd had an emailed resume on file since November. I also took a Letter of Recomendation from a friend who had just started at NetJets a month prior. I don't know how important that was since 6 of the 12 pilots in my interview group didn't know anyone at the company.

I don't know how many of my group were hired other than myself and one other Pilot from Independence Air. But of the 4 retired/retiring pilots (3 DAL, 1 USAir) at least 3 were turned down. I don't know about the 4th one yet. The majority of the interview group were refugees from Independence Air.

To answer your questions that is the normal email you get. You should be on file now. There's no rhyme or reason as to when you get called. Some in my interview group had resumes on file for ages then suddenly got apps in the mail. If you get the app you'll get an interview and at that point the job is yours to lose. They would like to hire everyone who interviews, there is no quota. They plan to hire 400 pilots this year, they're got about 120 hired so far.

You must be a member. I didn't see that pic on her homepage.

Nope, not a member bro, take the tour of her site, or google her name, free pic sets of Kari all over the net.

Thanks Air Bear I guess it is all up to the phone and mail.

What plane would you get hired to if you get in?

I was offered a job last week and my only option was the Citation V Ultra. As far as I know no one in my interview group got anything other than the Ultra. Keep in mind the pay is the same from the Falcon 2000 on down so it's just a matter of how long you're willing to stay junior and what kind of flying you want to do. Assuming of course you even have a choice in planes. The Ultra has it's advantages since it's the most junior jet. I'll be able to hold better schedules much quicker. And I doubt there will be senior F/O's bidding onto the plane ahead of me. In the Falcon 2000 you'd be flying a really nice plane but your progress up the list would be very slow.
