I was wondering how tough the commute is to FL out of ATL. I would like to hear from some ASA pilots that might live around the SRQ/TPA area. With so much more frequency to FL out of ATL, is the commute pretty easy. Does it vary throughout the year?

I can't speak for that area but PNS is a nightmare. Someone told me more Delta mainline pilots live here than any other non-hub local - and that's not counting all of the Comair, ASA, etc pilots.

ATL to FL and vice versa has got to be one of the worst commutes around. It's not just the DL/ASA coming from FL to work, it's all of the other airline crews coming through Atlanta trying to get to and from their bases. It can be done, but it can be tough!
