Furloughed UAL guy here flying for Emirates in Dubai.
Is it possible to jumpseat on the jets that have seats aft of the bulkhead? I know the cockpit is out of the question with me not being a current Pt 121 pilot.
I think I know the answer but thought I would ask anyway. Trying to get back and forth is brutal with current pax loads.
Would you Atlas guys chime in as well? I think you do some flying for Emirates out of Dubai. Maybe that would allow for jumpseating?

Thanks in advance,
The Pig.

Nope, not on FedEx/UPS.

There are certain TSA directives that the ACMI carriers follow that allows them to take a JS'er international, even without the door.

FedEx/UPS doesn't comply to the directives, even with the door.

For Atlas, you have to be currently in CASS, because of our lack of a cockpit door.

Couldn't we just put speedtape over the door? Seems to fix every other problem on a jet!

Thanks for the reply. I figured that would be the answer, but had to ask. You never know.

Thanks,
The Pig.
