Any word on how the E170s pilots are enjoying their new ride??? Nice paint job! How many more E170s are due before the end of the year?
 
I'd assume the normal part 91 currency. But I think most, 99% of people hired have current flying jobs, whether it's corporate, another 121 carrier, 135, or flight instructing. Also I've heard we'll have 13 170's before the year is over, with three on property right now. Hope that helps!
 
We have three 170's now with seven more coming by the end of the year. We will have 23 on property by June all for United.
 
Is CHQ hiring into the E170 or the ERJ's? And how senior is STL?
 
They are hiring into both the 170 and the 135/140/145. Higher mins for the 170 though.

The 170 training program is top notch. I am in sim training in Montreal, and the FSI guys have done a great job putting this together. It is basically a copy of the USAirways/Mid-Atlantic training proram. If you come up here just make sure you bring warm clothes.

Don't know the mins for the 170. There are no 170's in STL only IND for now. STL is not anymore senior or junior than any of the other bases. There are 23 170's on order I think a couple have just come online. There are still some 145's to come. I'm sure someone may have better info than I do.

If any of our code shares liquidate expext growth to stop for at least a little while. There have been rumors of a new code share.

Hours don't matter if you can't spell Chautauqua.
 
Having flown on the E170 as a pax I am a big fan. I would encourage anyone who could fly the E170 to bid it - looks like a great flight deck to me....

I wonder if Embraer has considered a corporate version of the E170/190? Clearly the Legacy appears to fit a niche and it is selling pretty well. You'd think that an E170 with fuel tanks for range could sell pretty well if the price were in the GV/Global range or less....
