I'm sure we have all heard the news by now. Now, here is a question. I saw a picture of "a" C-5 landing on BBC's website. It appeared to have no nose gear. Does anybody know if this is how the one in Baghdad landed or was this another photo the BBC decided to use? Thank you very much, over and out.

I know a lot of C-5 guys, has anybody seen names of the flight crew published anywhere yet?

It wasn't me, but thanks for worrying. :D

You know what really bites for those guys, now they have to stay in Iraq, the per-diem there sucks!!!

Fred Flyer,

I knew it wasn't you or the news reports would have read, "C-5 hit in Iraq, pilot lands in field and kicks the crap out of the ones who fired the missile. Tube launcher found in insurgent's butt."

Hope all is well. I'm back at work for now.

Just love how some radio talk show hosts are questioning the reasoning behind a non-counter measure equipped aircraft was sent into Baghdad. Good to know that being a entertainer officially makes you a general.

I had the distinct privilege of attending the OG/CC's call today where the OG/CC presented each of the 11 members of the crew a OG coin. By far, the best reason I have ever seen for a commander's call.

It was awesome and humbling to stand and applaud the men of the crew that saved the aircraft and the 52 other souls on board.

Wow, an OG coin. Well, that certainly makes getting shot out of the sky worth it.;)

I would hope that there are more awards in the red tape process. I just want to stay on the safe side of PA. ;-)
