I am a pilot for a charter / management company in the Southwest. Instead of treating the flight crew like a line item on the MEL, they actually care about quality of life and career advancement. Everyone gets typed on day one, scheduled days off, and above industry pay.

One of the owner’s is a pilot for a major airline and sponsor’s any company pilot who wishes to go to the airline. They are not at all threatened by those of us wishing to seek a career with a major.

It seems to me that the managed aircraft owner’s love the company since they really care about managing the aircraft in the owner’s best interest instead of sucking every last penny out of the owner.

If you are on a Certificate and not all that pleased, you should check this company out. PM me for more info.

Bally,

I was just thinking today about the thread you started last year, along the lines of resigning from a major airline to return to your charter/corporate roots. How's it working out?

my guess would be better than if he resigned from charter/corporate to go to a 121 op.

:p

Are you flying for Kenny A.?

Bally,

I tried to PM you, but I'm not sure it worked...I would be interested in talking to you about your company. I do live in the Southwest, and commute via my 172...so it's real easy for me to get to wherever...

Thanks,

So....don't keep us all in suspense....what company are you referring to?

Bally...where are you?

I agree

I am totally happy with the treatment at my company. I do not believe I have ever had a 1 hour call out and usually have several days notice before a trip. Better than average starting pay. Two weeks on and one week off rotation (as decide by us three assigned our particular aircraft). We are always put up at the finest hotels domestically and in Europe and the squawks on our aircraft are promptly dealt with. I am looking forward to continued success here.
