How is PBS working out?
What can a junior line holder expect for number of days off?
What are typical pairings (2, 3, 4 day or combinations thereof)?
How long have recent crj newhires into these bases been sitting reserve?
What is average take-home pay/mo 1st yr FO?

I hear that crj classes are running every 3 weeks, any insight for how long this is expected to continue?

Are you locked into domicile once awarded (ie can I bid SLC after being DEN-based for a few months or vice versa)?

Thanks in advance!

Uhhhh.... sorry missed what you said...I was distracted

Someone important said, "We have over 2400 pilots, and its gonna be 3000 soon."

2 classes (made up of newhire, transition, and upgrade) are running full every three weeks.

FWIW.

HOLY AVATAR. Niiiiiiiiice.

2 classes a month for the next 6 months. Right now running about 70 per class with a little over half going to the CRJ.

#1 PBS. Pretty Bad System
#2 guessing about 12
#3 mostly 4 days if your jr. maybe a 4 backed with a 2 once in a while because you'll have the 4 days that only credit 18 hrs being jr. Thanks PBS.
#4 no idea ???
#5 Not enough to even bother asking... :( (sub $17,000.00)

do you even work for SkyWest?

Seniority is everything, welcome to the airlines. The more senior you get, the better PBS will serve you.

I made about 24K my first year. The first year anywhere sucks, what else is new? I will more than double that this year.

PBS has its pros and cons. Overall I like it better. I also made about 24K my first year. If you're willing to work on your days off you can probably break $30k

PBS sucks!!!, and yes I work for SKYW.

Let's see, Before pBS I could decide what days I might get off. After pBS it's a crap shoot. Russian Roulette of bidding!!!!

If your not the #1 pilot in the domicile everything else is left overs.

Yes I work for SkyWest.

Middle of the senority list capt side. PBS has worked out a lot better than I thought it would. Not user friendly but I wouldn't want to go back to bidding lines thrown together by someone who doesnt not have to fly them. OCT-line
16 days off, eight days in one stretch, 76 hours credit.
