Some guy at Airliners.net compiled the estimates for many airlines for their Q3 profits. His name was LAXINTL, and it is interesting nonetheless. We'll see if those estimates come true:

Airlines/Estimated Profit or estimated (Loss)

Alaska: $116.3 million
Allegiant: $7.1 million
American: ($120.7 million)
Delta: $752.9 million
Hawaiian: $20.8 million
Jetblue: $32.6 million
Pinnacle: $4.2 million
Republic: $14 million
SkyWest: $6.7 million
Southwest: $88.4 million
Spirit: $18.8 million
United: $668.2 million
USAir: $72.9 million
Atlas: $36.2 million
ATSG: $11.5 million
FedEx: $475.8 million
UPS: $1.03 Billion

This guy LAXINTL was the one who researched those from Yahoo and Google Finance apparently, and hopefully they are correct. Interesting indeed. Goodnight!

Is this 1.03B for the whole operation or just the air cargo ops? I assume it's for the whole schabang - but if it's just aircraft ops. then holy schnikes.

I believe that is for the whole operation as they are 75% trucking. Regardless, it is crazy that they make that much $$ each quarter and yet still furlough. Ridiculous.
