Is it right to buy 250 hours of multi-time in the right seat for 11 grand? This offer is through a program that places you right seat on a cheiftain flying cargo. Anyone know how the airlines look at this? Is this hurting the industry or simply building 135 experience? I needs to know.
Nothing is more valuable in your logbook than SIC time in a small piston that you paid for. Don't let anyone but the bank stop you, the world is your oyster until you run out of money.
I don't think that's PFT, really, as a Navajo is a single pilot aircraft. Which brings up the point of how you can legally log SIC time in a single pilot operation? Is 135 ground school part of the deal?
If it's Part 135 and an SIC is required by the company's ops manual, then it can be logged as SIC time, even if the aircraft was certified single-pilot.
i've figured out how i can make some extra money flying checks now. sell out the right seat of my 402 for $11k. i'll be hanging out at the local flight school soliciting.
