Anybody have any info about QOL, Pay, Reserve Time, Reserve Days Off, Senior Bases, and Company Benifits for PSA? Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks, melbourneflyer

Well most of the information you are requesting is kind of hard with all the changes going on around here. With the Dornier's being replaced with CRJ's, the company has forced Dornier guys out of thier domiciles and turned that domicile into CRJ bases only untill they can hold a class date. PHL opened as a new base and CLT by this fall. You will get alot of diffrent opinions on QOL but for the Dork drivers, we are just waiting for them to go away and then sit on the beach untill a class date. All new hires are going into the CRJ. We currently have 18 CRJ's 200's on the property and 2 CRJ-701's. We are scheduled for 7 more delivery's this month. The 700 is kinda of a touchy subject, so let's not get into it. I don't expect it to be here for very much longer.

Reserve scheudules give you a min of 10 days with no less than 2 3-day breaks in the month. However, this is about to change in the next few weeks. The rest of the days are split into 2 day breaks unless it's the blend.

Benefits, medical and dental suck. Period. Cost of concessions.

There's a few other people in here that could possibly give you better info. The pay scale is posted somewhere, try a search.

Why and to what? -Bean

New reserve rules the company agreed to will hopefully make life better not only for the J4J's but for everyone. Don't have the details yet, but anyone who is on reserve at PSA will tell you that any change will be welcomed.

A TA was reached last week on payrates and reserve rules changes. This is in the process of getting writtten up by the lawyers types, then it will be avialable.

I agree, some of these things needed to be changed and it is better for the junior guys on reserve.

I got the app in the mail the other day. I've done a search for pay rates but keep coming up with too many links to wade through. Can anyone be so kind as to repost them again, please. Thanks.

These are the rates for the CRJ-200. Last week, a TA was reached on the CRJ-700, but these rate's have not been released yet.

You also have to remember that Airways hasn't even agreed to let us fly the 700s at all yet. The agreement was reached with the company not with Airways and they own the planes not us.

The only people flying them at the moment are management (flight instructors giving training etc..)
