to fly them? Payrates/work rules/etc??? Better be good or start warming up the excuses....Hold the line brothers, I seem to have read in the past you encouraged everyone else to put their job on the line to "take one for the cause"... are you guys gonna walk the walk? If not, ya kinda lose the right to complain about anyone else. How it feel to be in the cross fire now? Are you all gonna vote on it? Or is this gonna be another ALPA sponsored corn holing? Good luck either way, if ya roll over, ya get slimed, tell'em to F.O. and you get the street. Time to get ALL the pilot groupsworking together or what??? Boot ALPA and get the "Regional pilots with Cajones" or something......

start warming up? they already have some out on the table! "our MEC did the deal"...im sure their pilot group is heartbroken that ALG and PDT is shrinking and flying dh8s. im sure if they had been able to vote for it they would have evened it out. they already have a contract that equal too, and worse in some cases, then mesa. (but you dont hear much about it)

Hey NoName,

The only part of our contract worse than MESA is the 2-3 year FO pay. Everything else is better.

So what's the deal? You two babies jealous of our new aircraft? You wanna come fly the fancy new jets? Too bad, cuz we got em and you don't! :p

Peace!

Dang it, I'm losing my touch. It's been almost 3 hours and not even a nibble on my flame bait. The first two posts musta scared the fishies away. :D

Anyway, if given the option to vote I will vote NO on anything other than 50/50 staffing and PSA date of hire seniority for all bidding. That is only my opinion and does not necessarily represent those of my fellow pilots. They are big boys and girls and can decide for themselves.

I think it was LearLove who posted an idea about giving PDT and ALG guys and gals the first shot at MDA and I think that is more than fair, and not enough at the same time. They do not deserve the crap that they are being dealt right now.

Sincerely,

Skeezer

Two babies?

I hope you weren't refering to me, I don't think I would give up the Airbus to go to PSA, I was an RJ CA for 4 years, the charm sorta wore off, but maybe it excites you, to each his own. Besides, I spent 4 years associated with USAirways, couldn't wait to get outta that mess. 99% of the flight crews were very cool, 95% of the Gate agents/ ramp etc. can go pound salt up their collective a$$es., rude...stinking rude! I hope WN eats them for lunch in PHL, maybe then they could learn to be nice to ANYONE, this time their jobs REALLY DO depend on it. The pax will vote with their dollars, the least US Air could do is make it less of an obvious choice. BTW Hanging your hat with ANY USAir affiliate is fools gamble, you've been treated like $hit for years, what makes you think it's gonna get better....unless you like the abuse......

I would guess that our 70 seat pay will be eagle rates, due to MDA getting that for there 70 seater, so it would be difficult for us to get something different.

IMHO

Thanks alot dude, may I return the favor and wish you ill as well?

Wish ya ill? Not really...

I think I probably shoulda said something like "I hope WN provides the shock therapy to USAir types that would encourage improved treatment of fellow employees and pax, at least enough to keep them in business." Ya gotta admit WN is gonna steam roll US initially, can the old heads respond in time to save themselves? I hope, but the typical Philly attitude is as deep as it is abrasive. People will (are?) vote with their feet

Yeah, wouldn't want to actually grow some ball$, a backbone and go toe to toe with airline management now would you?

They might come to your apartment that you share with 4 other people and repo your furniture and TV. Then you'll be back at home with mommy and daddy.

Either way, management will win until you stand up for yourself.

Sincerely,

B. Franklin

Yeah, WN in PHL is definately a wake-up call for Sea-Gull and Co.

I just wish/hope they would stop hitting the snooze.
