I have been reading alot of hoopla over the Gov't wanting to privatize ATC. I find it very Ironic that the Gov't made every security screener a federal employee, but they want to take the really important people and turn them into private contractors.
What company would constantly run in the red with out gov't money? If the gov't subsidizes the new ATC system what is the point of making it a private institution?
Would someone please rationalize this for me?
