I know a guy at Options that claims he flew the F-18 so maybe if you ask around you could find him. I don't know if it was supposed to be in the Navy or Marines or what....

Flight Options is heavy with ex-navy/Marine Corps pilots. Chance are that half the FLOPS pilots you run into would be ex navy/Marine corps pilot.
