Godspeed to your friend and his family

Hi!

I live in Green Bay, and I met the 3 guys who were flying there. I wanted to get in, but I didn't have enough hours. If I did, that could've been me.

My wife said it was a MX test flight. She said the pilot did a lot of manuevering to keep everyone safe on the ground. He got out of the wreck, and later died.

It really sucks.

I watched a helo towing a banner lose it's tail rotor about 6 months ago at Long Beach. We got the electrical shut off to make sure there was no fire. That guy made it, but he was in bad shape.

My prayers to everyone involved.

God Bless.

A couple of guys at an airport I hang out at have a Bell helicopter that they use for private flying and county fair rides.

Since everything on that helicopter is on the outside, it's interesting to look at.

I have never seen a more meticulous aircraft owner/operator group as these two guys. They do a post flight that longer than you can imagine.

Interesting way to fly, but I think it has too many moving parts for me.

Be careful out there, whirly girls and guys!

ANd everybody used to think that the maint. test pilot was an easy job.

Not good.
