This was posted on the all-new "company-sponsored, moderated" propaganda bulletin board. Not sure if it will make it past the moderator, so I was asked to post it here to see it it does show up in an edited form:

How interesting that the company takes this action, driving down the value of the companies stock the next day. Then what happens?

Have a look at the S.E.C. Form 4 filings for stock acquisitions of our illustrious management.

That's right--Team "Simply the Best" thought that they deserved $877,292 more than you and me. After crying that we "lost flying and opportunities" they decide to rake nearly a million dollars off the top!

These guys take ethics to a new low. Rake in as much money you can off the backs of your workers, then dump them out like garbage. How these men sleep at night is beyond me.

I challenge your "Commitment to Communication" by actually posting this. So I will post it in other forums on the net to see if it actually sees the light of day.

This is simply an anouncement of stock options issued. It doesn't mean anything more than that. You are attempting to misrepresent the facts. When and if they excercise and sell these options will determine how much they make. In the mean time these options are already 'underwater". ie they are worthless.

Just because they exercised options doesn't mean they "raked" in any cash. They put up their own cash to exersise options. They can sell those options later "if" and 'when" the options appreciate. Your attempt to mis represent them is called.

The question is, were the awards given based on the price of the stock after they announced that they are SUEING THE PILOTS. Yes they are options, and no money is made until they are exersized. But they may have made the announcement at that precise time to bring down the option price, so that when it goes back up they can maximise the profit.

Very, very manipulative. But this is par for the course for this management group.

I don't know you, but your tone is very suspect. You are obviously not a line pilot.

A friend of mine who flies at PNCL gave me promotional "Simply the Best" Pinnacle/Colgan t-shirt about a year ago. It's the only thing I own that gets more hilarious the longer I've had it.
