Can someone tell me about this place? QOL, Pay, Jr. Bases, etc. Thanks
UNtil they finally get seniority integration with Atlas...if ever I would be careful about going to work at Polar

Lots of Reserve.....QOL is what you make it. You can be gone for extended periods at a time.

You will rack up tons of miles on UAL, AA, Etc.. as they fly you all around the world to sit in a Hotel and wait. Crew Schedule has got much better over the years but still has lots of flaws.

If you meet the mins and get hired you may have to suck it up for a while but could look great on a resume down the road!

Hi!

So, CURRENTLY, how would you rate Polar vs. Atlas, overall?

ILN

ATP Cliff, the QOL at Polar is superior to that at any non sched. There is a lot of scheduled flying which helps you set your body clock. The most junior pilot on the property can refuse to work on his days off, this has one caveat. Reserves may be extended 3 days under certain circumstances.

Don't bite on hourly rates only. Both contracts can be read on the AAWH website. Good luck
