Any Polar Air types out there know whats going on? I interviewed and was placed into a hiring pool awaiting a class date. Just wondering if anyone had any information. Thanks alot.

There is talk of another class starting in Jan/Feb, this would all depend on if they get the additional 744, keep your eyes and ears open.

What's the best way to get a resume to Polar. Fax number? Email? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

One of ur ex's

One of our former pilots is there, gone now 2 months takes his days off on the road at the company's request. Which is great if that is the life style you are pursuing.

Anyone know if Ron Carlson is going to make the move from CA to NY? If he quits there goes my best connection to a possible interview.

i was at a polar interview early dec. ron spoke of the headquarter move to purchase. he said he was an independent contractor for them and probably wouldnt be working for them after they move. he likes the job, but isnt going to move out of so cal.

A friend of mine is #4 capt at Polar on the 400. took a trip with him a few months ago ORD-MIA the FO was one of the union reps and was getting info from crews on what the next contract talks should include. It was an interesting chat with all 3 of them. They all had preferences of course. My friend was interested in a retirement package as number one. About pay, at that time it looked like 125K a year, 4th yr capt if I heard right. Pretty **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** lousy for flying a brand new 400. Lowest in the industry except for Atlas. First year is decent at around 45 or 50k to start, again if i heard right. My friend bid two on two off (weeks). I did see some of the lines and some were up to 20 days away....tough if you have a family. Was a great trip though, awsome airplane!! Oh yeah, I could really get into it!!
hope this is correct. Any Polar crew can add?

just another ATR driver
