I just read it from another message board, and it's the 2nd fatal accidents this week. As a fellow pilot, this one's a tough one to gulp down. A moment of silence...

You know, this week has been pretty bad in losing people i know and talk to often. First the Texstar accident from which i heard his last transmission and knew him from my stayovers in HOU to this Flight Express accident. I also knew this pilot, Will, from my stops in ASG every morning. I remember seeing him in the morning when i showed up at ASG because my plane was covered in ice from the approach in. He gave me a chipper grin, and i knew what it meant... we all would have known what it meant. Both of us were amazed at the accumulation still on my A/C. He then went inside to talk with other pilots that were congregated inside the terminal.

I had just found out the day prior that he had finally been able to land a job in California where he was from and was getting ready to move back. For those of you who didn't know him, he was a really great guy. It really tears at me to also say that he had a young wife in CA who is due in the early part of next year. It was a very tragic day.

Let us all pray for them both and remember who they were and what they meant to us.

Flight Express

Starchkr,

Noel, is that you? Jeff here. My heart has been torn apart with Will leaving us. He was a good friend of mine for a year now. It's been a sad, sad week. Take care, God bless.

Jeff

PS- holler at me in ASG next week, I didn't fly Thurs. and I barely flew Fri. ( I probably shouldn't have)

Also a good friend of mine, I just have to say "We Miss You, Will!!!"
You were one hell of a pilot and an awesome person altogether!
You will never be forgotten!
