Part II of PRIA form states:
Airman Consent For The Release Of Records...
Does this mean a complete FAA record including checkrides failures etc.? Are the airlines completing this release of records to comply with PRIA?

Thanks in advance

Yes.....Basically ANY checkride failures and you can forget about working at a regional now. Same as a DUI.

PRIA does not show check ride failures other than any failures at a 121 / 135 carrier for the last 5 years.

IF they make you sign FOIA, they get access to your complete airman file. This will include all checkride failures.

I know quite a few people with DUIs who have been hired in the past (unfortunately). Do you have evidence that this is actually changing?

There is a catch to this. If you went to a 141 school, any failure does not go into your record as a failure. It is an unsatifactory as part of course. Personally, I would be honest, but if you did go to a 141 school, then you would not have gotten a pink slip if you failed. However, 142 school, and you would know if you failed, issue pink slips.

Not necessarily, I've seen in my experience, after a spectacular checkride failure or repeated failure, pink slips issued in part 141

This is wrong failures are no longer expunged due to Colgan crash. Any 121/135 failure after oct 2010 stays on the record forever.

"When did the FAA stop expunging enforcement records?
The last time the FAA expunged legal enforcement records was on November 1, 2010. This covered records that came due for expunction during October 2010."

That will change, with the coming hiring boom, these will not be show stoppers.
