My first "corporate" job was flying a T210 for a local utility services company. Pay was $36K/yr + benefits. Schedule was known 60-90 days in advance. I flew 1-2 days per week with no RON's and no office work which allowed me to also work full-time as a CFI. I had a lot less TT than you when I was hired.

I flew a straight tail Lance(old school Saratoga) for a guy around '95-'96 on a contract type basis. I was paid $25/hr up to a max of $150/day. Plus hotel and meals if we overnighted. Pretty good gig as a low time guy.

I got $100 a day for a Bonanza, plus meals and other expenses. At the time I also had a lot less total time than you do now.

After instructing, I flew a TC Saratoga and was paid $17 per flight hour, $15 dollars an hour for time waiting, and all my expenses were covered. Every three months I was given a raise. When I quit working I was making around $24 flight/ $20 wait. Hope it helps.

I flew a Saratoga HP (late model, nicely equipped) for a private company over a couple years. I'm not 100% sure what I was paid, but I believe it was along the lines of $23-24k/yr. Pretty low, but living in a small town in the Midwest and being single helped it go a little ways. I flew about 3 times a week on average. Usually out about 7am, back by 5-6pm. I did have several RONs...more than I'd like to remember. Everything was taken care of: hotels, meals (reimbursed), and rental car (if gone longer than 2 days, bah!). It was a good job for me at the time and great experience. I, too, had much less TT than you when I was hired. I think I had around 750-800TT, CMELI, CFI when I was hired. Good luck!

My first corporate gig was in a TC Saratoga. I got $40/hour plus expenses which I never had any because there were never any RONs and the pax were always at the airport within 30 minutes of me arriving. It was also pretty nice IMO because the trips were always 2-3 hours each way and one leg was always a dh leg.

I had a buddy in Texas flying a toga 2 TC. He made 41 plus benies, and i think he made some sort of daily rate too

How about a merridian? Owners are pilots just not comfortable IFR single pilot.

Its an as needed/as avialable.

In 1989, I flew a PA46 for 26K and got a company car and credit card, all expenses covered. Treated me like a whore, but it was work. Extrapolate for the inflation rate.

I flew a decently equipped II HP in the Midwest. Got $35/hr max of $300 day and $25/hr wait (wait was billed 8AM - 5PM) plus expenses and was treated very well. Salary guy that was on a II TC at the same airport was making $35,000 but no real benefits.

One of my first gigs was in a old B-35 Bonanza. $50 an hour flight time, $25 an hour wait time. GOOOOD money.

Holy Crap! Sign me up. For $50 bux an hour I will puts around in a Bonanza all day long. Nice airplane, no FO to babysit, home every night and all the fun you can stand. Probably great QOL if the Boss is a nice guy/gal.

This is EXACTLY why regional airline FOs are so pissed off.

I did contract pilot services and flight instruction in SELs from 2000-2002 on the side and charged $40.00 per flight hour, $15.00 for wait time or $150 per over night plus I billed back expenses. I did this under an LLC.

Tailwinds...
